Sunbonnet Sue Mystery Quilts

Who is Sunbonnet Sleuth?
For 20 years I was editor-in-chief of QUILT magazine, retiring in 2007. I now design quilts for several major fabric companies and for the leading quilt magazines. In the past year my quilts have appeared on the covers of The Quilter and Quilter's World magazines. More of my quilts were featured in Fons and Porter, McCalls, and Quilter's Newsletter magazines.
I also designed all of the quilts in the 2009 Block A Day Quilt Calendar.
Currently I am editing the journal of the National Quilting Association, The Quilting Quarterly. The NQA is a non-profit organization for quilters.
I have taught at major quilting events, including Quilt Festival, Houston; Quilting Retreat, Kanuga Conference Center, NC; and large and small quilt guilds throughout the country.
I bring all of this experience to designing the Sunbonnet Sleuth mystery quilts and writing the step-by-step illustrated instructions. Each new mystery will be based on a traditional pattern... and offer a twist to the usual to make the finished quilts uniquely unusual.
